ASML Technical Graduate Program – Project Management at the EUV Factory
In a nutshell
LOCATION: Veldhoven, Netherlands
EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years
JOB CATEGORY: Other technical job categories
Do you see deadlines as a challenge? Is your natural talent bringing people and processes together? Start your professional technical career in our two-year Project Management Technical Graduate Program at the EUV Factory!
At the EUV Factory, we produce the newest generation of chipmaking machines with the help of the revolutionary technology of extreme ultraviolet (EUV) light. The complex EUV machines are produced in parts in Veldhoven before being transported to the client for assembly.
You will work in one of our three key business areas covering the Manufacturing teams for the current platform (NXE) and the latest EUV machine (EXE) at ASML as well as the group that makes sure we install the machines at our customers.
During the two-year program, you will develop a deep understanding of all three key business areas. We also offer an extensive development program and excellent work experience to prepare you to become a project management professional at the EUV Factory.
ASML leads the worldwide development, production and sales of high-end lithography systems for the semiconductor industry. In short, we make the machines that make computer chips, or integrated circuits. We build some of the most amazing, complex machines that you will ever see – and the software to run them – to develop smaller, faster and still more affordable chips. It is because of our machines that the world’s technology has steadily evolved.
It’s one thing to design a product – it’s another to build, mass produce and install it. The EUV Factory assembles, builds and delivers our EUV systems from the prototype stage onwards. It also performs the installation of completed systems at customer sites.
Each new generation of systems brings new manufacturing and installation challenges. To ensure that the entire process runs smoothly, we need future system owners and project leaders.
During the first period of the program, you will begin the onboarding process where we welcome you to ASML and explain our company, our culture and how we do our work.
You will then start your role in your department, where you are responsible for achieving the desired results of a project, including managing set delivery dates and bringing people and processes together. The complexity of the assignments and your responsibilities will increase over time, developing your skills to the level of a junior project lead, system owner or coordinator, which involves the management of a growing number of stakeholders.
As you work, you will learn about the latest technology, how our international customers operate, and how everything fits together at the EUV Factory. You will receive assignments related to improvements of the process, planning and output, and quality. This includes short- and long-term projects, both on the technical and organizational level, and may include international travel.
An exceptionally dynamic environment is typical for the EUV Factory. One moment, you may be working at an orderly, even pace – and the next, you’re leaping into action to solve a problem. No day is the same at the ASML EUV Factory!
It also includes an extensive personal development program:
