The IAP is an international community of prosecutors committed to setting and raising standards of professional conduct and ethics for Prosecutors worldwide; promoting the rule of law, fairness, impartiality and respect for human rights and improving international co-operation to combat crime. The IAP is a non-governmental and non-political organisation and it is the first and only worldwide organisation of prosecutors. The Association represents over 300,000 prosecutors in nearly 180 different countries and territories.
